The "Default Mood" Mug

Annual company town halls and executive roadmaps always promise that "this year will be different." New software rollouts will streamline workflows, cross-departmental synergy will reach record highs, and budgets will finally accommodate necessary headcount. Yet, by Q2, the software is broken, the budget is frozen, and you're covering three distinct roles while receiving a mass email thanking you for your "unwavering resilience." You lowered your expectations to ground level, and yet management still managed to bring a shovel. But you aren't angry—anger implies unexpected betrayal. You have simply achieved a state of stoic, cynical enlightenment. Featuring an illustration of the classic, unblinking side-eye paired with the defining baseline of modern corporate life—"My mood this year: disappointed, but not surprised."—this mug captures the exact frequency of your daily existence.

Keep it front and center on your desk during quarterly forecast reviews, post-mortems for entirely predictable project failures, or town halls announcing another internal reorg, and sip hot dark roast from it while calmly watching every baseline prediction come true in real time.

The Specs (Since someone is bound to ask):

• Dimensions: 96mm tall and 80mm wide. Ergonomically shaped to hold while processing predictable outcomes with absolute stoicism.
